The Headteacher’s Report

The Headteachers report has been a game-changer for ensuring the quality of reports given to our Governors. The HTR team have been very helpful in developing our own bespoke report that gives the perfect balance of in-depth data, presented elegantly and efficiently without getting bogged down in detail. Our Governors are now able to see key information and give robust challenges to the academy leaders as we have the confidence that they are presented with accurate, up to date information about performance compared to other trust academies, LA schools and national measures.

When needed, the support from the HTR team is swift, friendly and efficient.

This is a user friendly programme and it helps to do the job effectively while saving lots of time. The different sections help to ensure we are able to provide the key information we need to give governors. My governors love this style of report.

I particularly like the tick box to hide element as this report didn’t need all the data etc but I had the option of leaving out all the bits I didn’t want to include. Looking forward to the next version.

What a great report. I found it really easy and user friendly. It is short and concise and gave me the headings which I needed to report to Governors about so it was absolutely perfect.

The Headteachers report has been a real life saver for me Not only do I have the data pulled automatically from SIMs and placed in the report saving me time, energy and sometimes frustration but the ability to compare data with other schools enables my analysis and evaluation to be focuses on what is important for school improvement. The result is that my Trustee’s have an accurate report leading to a greater understanding of the challenges faced, success achieved and our priorities going forward. It is simply an invaluable resource for any headteacher.

We have recently started using the HT Report and we have been really impressed with the format and content. Our Governors really supported it and found the graphs and comparison tables for national averages particularly useful. The system is really easy to use and support is always available for any additional queries or about personalising the document. It has been a really useful tool to help focus our reports on the key areas and also aided in reducing workload. We are now looking at purchasing other services to enhance our report writing documents.

What a difference the Headteacher’s report has made – not only to the Governors but to myself as headteacher. I trialled the report initially and shared this with Governors. They loved how easy it was to read it, from the word go. No longer did they have pages of text to read but were presented with a clear, concise and visually appealing report. Governors love the fact it compares data with other schools in the LA and nationally. For myself it is simple to update and keep on top of ensuring that all of the necessary information is provided to Governors. I have recommended the HT report to a number of colleagues and will continue to do so. Thanks for all your support when needed technically. No questions is too daft!

Ease of use is so much easier, we have found the interface much more user friendly and the whole process has been much more straightforward.

Ironstone Academy Trust have worked successfully with Ben and Neil for a couple of years, and have seen them work hard to develop our ideas into something that works well for our MAT. Trustees really appreciate and value the reports from each school being closely aligned, which has simplified their meetings and allowed them to focus on what really matters. Customised reports have let us focus sharply on our KPIs and priorities.

Our Trustees like that they are able to have a consolidated picture of school data across the Trust, and that it is presented in a visible way that is in line with the new Ofsted framework.
